  1. A Question for all anglers...

Over the years, and especially recent years, I have noticed some questionable fish handling on some of the rivers I fish. Although I am sure it happens during salmon season, my particular focus for this question is on handling steelhead that will be released.

Recently I witnessed an angler taking photo's of a wild steelhead, which in itself is not bad, except the fish in question was out of the water, lying on its side on the bank in the grass...! Once the photo's were completed ...

  3. Everything in Life I Learned from Fishing

  5. A fishermans right of passage.

"A fisherman skillfully knotted his green and white "killer hoochy" to a
Leader, measured it, looped the opposite end at precisely the right length,
clipped it to a flasher, then tossed everything over the side to see how it
looked in the water. It looked fine as it sank from sight, for none of it
was tied to his main line." - Author Unknown.

Funny stuff for sure. I know we have all been on the wrong side of mental blocks, while ...
