Fishery Notice - Fisheries and Oceans Canada

Subject: FN0183-ABORIGINAL - Manila Clams - North Coast - Area 7 - Heiltsuk Commercial Clam - Closing

The Heiltsuk Commercial Clam fishery has been completed for the 2009-2010
season. All commercial and recreational bivalve harvesting is now closed in
Pacific Fisheries Management Area 7 due to a lack of biotoxin monitoring.

Council/Fisheries and Oceans Canada Joint Management Plan, available on the
