    Default small needlefish patterns

last year in the queen charollotes i noticed alot of juvinile needlefish and was watching chinook and coho slaughter them in the small shalow bays on the inside by our lodge and i wwas wondering what fly pattern would be best to represent tnese small fish about an inch or two long. also would throwing a bigger patern in there be more affective. I caught lots of nice chinook useing herring right in front of these bays.

    Nice Rick.

They almost look like you braided them.
I want to fish until the day that I die, and when it is over, may I be deemed a keeper.

Nice Rick. Do you have a pattern for those?
I knew I loved to fish when I realized I didn't need to kill - or even catch - one to enjoy it.

Nice patterns RICK, is that braid material, as it is nice looking stuff , as you look like you have the touch.

Hey Jamie, they should work good down there as well. I haven't caught anything with them yet as I have only fished them a couple times but they do swim nice in the water on the strip. I'm sure they will work good in the right situation!

No I dont have a recipe for that fly but its a pretty simple pattern to tie as you can see from the photo. One day i might get around to it!!

The product used for the body is used pearl flex-cord. On that particular pattern I used 1/8th.
