Thread: lost at Weaver lake

    Default lost at Weaver lake

Help!!! Hey guys, just got back from Weaver lake. In all my infinite wisdom I left my Plano tackle bag at the boat launch. Its black and green and full of all sorts of goodies. Old fly reels from my grandmother, boxes of flies, leader, knot tying tools and other misc items. Any way I'm most upset by the loss of the old reels. Quite a high amount of sentimental value. If anyone can help please feel free to send me a pm. Oh yeah, the fishing was pretty dang good!. Thanks Matt

Matt, did the same thing at Stave Lake boat launch with 5 rods. I went back immediately and posted my phone # all over the place. Got all my stuff back 2 days later as the great guy who had found my rods went back precisely to see if anyone had left a message. Try that if you can and also post on Craigslist lost and found. Let us know how you do. There are decent people out there.

What a sick feeling once you realize your mistake, I have done that before. Did you turn back to check for it, or not realize till you got home? A friend is going up with his family to weaver tomorrow morning early. Unfortunately someone probably already grabbed it but I just text him and told him to keep his eyes open for it.

Thank you BNF, your efforts are greatly appreciated. I had this weird feeling when we hit Mission. Looked in the deck of the truck from the cab, I couldn't see it but assumed I had loaded it. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and will be a bit more carefull next time.
