Don't give up hope Symon it may still show up, there are many honest people on the water and I think someone will turn it in. A pain in the asse to get all new ID. thats why over the years I have collected a spare social insurance card, Care Card and birth certificate plus Air Miles and what have you. Just makes it easier if I ever do lose my wallet I can still smile and say, no problem. I hope it shows up.

Good luck with getting your wallet back . Hopefully someone will exchange it for some good karma.

Hard to believe, my uncle was fishing a spot on the top end a few weeks ago. He bent over and without realizing he had left a pocket open, dropped his keys and wallet into the river. the water was mirky but after a few minutes he found his keys but the wallet had floated away. That night he got a call from a fellow that had found his wallet. The guy was fishing a couple kms down river and had it bump into him while standing out in the water. He picked it up, google his address and came up with his home number and the next day the wallet was returned. Amazing story but awesome that there are people out there willing to put in a little effort and help a fellow angler out.

Personally, I NEVER fish with my wallet - I have a waterproof baggie thingy TIED to my vest and kept inside the inside zipper pocket with my fishing lic.... add to that when I go fishing my driver's and either cash or bank card. the rest stays home EVERY TIME!

Hope you get it back man - good luck!
