Dear Madam or Sir,
While fishing this autumn in
BC, I came across the fact that the new BC online licensing system allows unlimited number of fishing license printouts (copies).
Each license copy has 10 boxes to record an Adult Chinook,
Steelhead and other listed species retention…
Only one’s Imagination could produce the number of copies with 10
Chinooks, Steelheads, etc. each one angler could exploit and discard- the equivalent is simply to drop the retention limits.
Unless this practice (using unlimited copies of licenses) ends instantly, one could predict quite sure that future
Chinooks, Steelheads, etc population will be greatly reduced.
For 7 continuous days of fishing I noticed no visible
DFO presence…
(nemohm)
the authorities do not not seem sound .
