Area 29 (Port Mann Bridge to Agassiz Bridge (mainstem Fraser River)
Set Nets open from 19:00 hours to 14:00 hours hours daily from August 18 to
August 19, 2010.
Drift Nets open from 06:00 hours to 14:00 hours hours daily from August 19 to
August 19, 2010.
Only individuals designated by the Chehalis and Scowlitz Indian Bands are
authorized to participate in this fishery. All aspects of the licence will be
enforced. Fisher harvesters are advised to contact their local bands for a
copy of the conditions of their fishing licence.
The fishery is limited to the harvest of sockeye salmon and an incidental catch
of chinook salmon. All efforts and attempts shall be made to return all non
target species to the water alive. All viable steelhead, wild coho salmon and
sturgeon must not be retained.
It is mandatory that all salmon species retained under the authority of this
licence must be transported to the nearest landing station and made available
for inspection.
