    Carlos...

You can get a good chart book at most boating stores, but Steveston Marine would be a safe bet. As far as gas locations I am not sure where you find a list? We just know where they are and plan accordingly.

Just give Steveston a call or I can check as I live very close to the one in Vancouver.

Steveston Marine in Langley (and just about any other store) has FISH'n'MAP CO. waterproof & tearproof plastic maps for many different areas. They have GPS co-ordinates, underwater depth contours, boat ramps and Marina Facilities are identified.

They are very reasonable at about $12.00 each ....... a must have in my opinion ....... same or better than the GPS detailed.

There is a Magazine called Waggonners Cruising Guide and it lists all anchorages and ports with radio channels and fuel, toilets and telephone numbers etc. Great mag covers most of the coast(i.e all the way from Puget to Prince Rupert). It gives diagrams of harbours ports marinas and other information on tides, narrows and marker bouys. It also lists the chart numbers you need when you are going to new locations.

    Roscoe....

I would definitely be up for it. Would like to check out your new ride.

Salmon has been a bit slow lately, but the crabbing has been great.
