Fishery Notice - Fisheries and Oceans Canada

Subject: FN0997-Salmon: Economic Fishing Opportunity - Area 29 - Lower Fraser Area- Opening

Modified Shallow Seines will be open, 06:00-20:00 hours daily on October 23,
2012 and October 24, 2012, in those waters of the Fraser downstream of the
power lines immediately downstream of the Port Mann Bridge. Close times may be
adjusted and communicated on the water.

Only individuals designated by Musqueam First Nation are authorized to
participate in this fishery. Fishers are advised to contact their band office
for a copy of the conditions of their fishing licence.

This fishery is targeting chum salmon based on a current in season run size of
2.326M. All efforts and attempts shall be made to return all non target species
to the water alive. All chinook, steelhead, wild or hatchery marked coho
salmon and sturgeon must not be retained.

It is mandatory that all salmon retained under the authority of this licence be
transported to the nearest landing station and made available for inspection.
