Kalamalka Lake Kokanee
Not my fish, but courtesy of Rod Hennig, a guide out of Kelowna, who got one of his young clients into a hog of a Kokanee today. He has more photos on his Facebook page. Bigger than some Sockeye!

Very nice James , i hear that woods lake can be even more productive for these land locked cousins. I've fished
this lake a few times and did not find it very forgiving.....Ranked top ten by national geographic for beauty and id
have to agree....

For Kokanee, Wood Lake is recovering from major kill, so it's good news that they are thriving next door!

Wish they grew that BIG in Allouette, very nice catch.
I'm lucky enough to have a lake close by with big kokanee. so far we've landed them up to just shy of 5lbs.
