What's about fishing with treble hooks and two hooks on one lure in tidal waters?

These questions might seem dumb, but I'm still trying to make sense of all the fishing regulations in BC as they are quite complex

You can use two hooks on one lure in tidal, but if fishing for Salmon they must be barbless.

I have another question for you all.

Can I go fishing to Fraser river for salmon now, when the salmon fishing is closed if I catch and release? Or am I not allowed to even try?

    Thanks

Chinook retention on Fraser, bar fishing or casting spoons and spinners! Check the regs, slot limits in effect.

The reason I'm asking is that there's too much information in the regulation and it's not clear to me.... So can I go fishing on a Fraser if I'm going to release everything I catch?

Did I understand you correct that I can catch and keep Chinook considering size limitations?
    Thanks

    I found helpful links.

This one shows all the applicable regulations and changes to the fishing in Fraser river, where I'm going to go this weekend:
    http://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/r...raser-eng.html

This is an interactive area map:
    http://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/r...-carte-eng.asp

And regulations page for area 29, containing links to specific areas etc.:
    http://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/r...a-s29-eng.html

So I decided to go on this weekend to try bar fishing with a spin-n-glo setup.
Will let you know if that worked at all Fingers crossed.

    Hi everyone,
I have a licensing related question.

If I'm going to go fishing for salmon to Chilliwack river, what kind of license do I need?
Or maybe I will rephrase my question this way - currently I have a tidal license with a salmon stamp and I have a basic fresh water license. Do I need to buy any additional license in order to be able fishing and keeping salmon from Chilliwack river?

    Thanks

You need to add a salmon stamp to your freshwater licence if you are going to retain salmon. The tidal salmon stamp doesn't apply to non-tidal salmon fishing.
You do not need a freshwater salmon stamp if you are C&R.
