Anybody here ever fish recreationally on the east coast? Either salt or freshwater, nothing specific just curious as to what their rec fisheries might be like.
Remember. It was professionals that built the Titanic and an amateur that built the Ark.
I grew up there as a kid. We went fishing every day in the summer. We lived on the Exploits River, one of the main rivers in the province. It's
Fly Fishingonly on the salmon rivers and it's tributaries. The fishing was fun, Atlantic salmon , brown trout and brook trout mostly. My brother goes back regularly and has gone salt water fishing with his buddy. It was great he said. He sent me pics of them holding 15-20 pound Atlantic cod they caught with rod and reel this past summer. Some of the remote areas in interior of the province have lots of good spots, but they may be hard to access without local knowledge.
