Default Small creeks, streams, or rivers to learn to fly fish around Kamloops?

    Hey everyone,
I've been Fly Fishing for a while now on still water and I'm interested in trying on moving water now. Can anyone suggest some small rivers or creeks that have fish that would be good for learning on? I'm near Kamloops. Thanks.

The mainstem Thompson is good dry Fly Fishing in the summer but not really a creek/stream. Campbell creek is full of small rainbows but not sure about the legality of fishing there and access is tight because its on farmlands.
    are ye catching anything? nope.....
