Donnely Lake in region 5 of the Cariboo has to rate as one of my favorite
Fly Fishinglakes. 5 lb. fish are not uncommon and I personally have taken 8 lb. plus by the rock outcropping on the south east side of the lake. It has a lot of restrictions so check the regs. but because of the accessibility issues it will likely always be a great lake for catch and release types. Belly boats and pontoon boats seem to be the most favorites due to the half hour hike in on the trail. They still haven't restricted float planes so till they do I will continue to enjoy this beautiful aqua blue lake. (OK, now let me know your favorite spot)
For you pilots...remember.....It's better to break ground and fly into the wind than to break wind and fly into the ground.
