    Default seasons and lures?

just wondering if anyone can give me some advice about the different seasons of bass fishing and what kind of flies or lures that can be used. i am hoping to make it up to vasseaux this year, either summer or fall.

    any info would be appreciated.

    thx :beerchug:

Summer tends to be the bass season, July to September. See some of the other posts for more info about fishing for bass. Generally speaking, you can't really troll for them, find them around shore and structure. You can use noisy top water 'poppers', or dry flies, or bottom water tube jigs or wet flies.

I find they will hit flies like leech patterns if you troll just near to a drop off or adjacent to weed beds
Leave it cleaner than when you found it
