Default dealing with simms on wader repair

so i purchased a pair of freestone waders a while back, 4 trips in they leaked in the right leg, so i sent them back and a month later i get them back reapired....first trip out they leak in the same leg...and now the left leg? so i took them back to reaction and they were very good about it and gave me the RA# to email them, so i sent a rather....lengthy and angry email and waited.... i got the reply back and they apologized and gave me the option of getting the 09 freestones, upgrade to the 08 riversheds or pay 100 bucks and get the 09 headwaters hopefully i get my new riversheds soon so despite there faulty waders and repair job im pretty happy with the service they gave me now...and wont hesitate to buy more of there products and shop at reaction as both were very good to me

    Hey kingpin

Nice to hear of a shop and a manufacturer stepping up and backing their products. To often we hear of things working the other way. Definitely worth keeping in mind for up coming purchases.

I’ve dealt with Reaction a few times now; mostly for small ticket items (bulk purchases of terminal tackle) and have always found them to be great to deal with. Glad to hear you have been treated the same.

Kingpin does Reaction have the new 09 simms waders in? preferrable the freestones? I would have to say chilliwack dart and tackle, and reaction are my favorite places to shop

When my old CLassic Guides finally sprang a bunch of leaks, Simms upgraded me to a new pair of G3's. I've had nothing but great service from these folks...and their product line is probably the best out there.

You can actually do all of your repair orders online and directly with Simms. You do not need to go directly to a local retailer to get a RA#.

Dealing with Simms direct is generally easy and satisfying! Their quality and customer service keep them at the top of their game.

I have always found Simms to be fair, but sometimes slow! Kim had to wait 4 months!!!! for her wader warranty service.

I was lucky I only had a 6-8 week wait when mine went in.

My dealing with Simms wader warranty was excellent I dealt directly with Simms repair and warranty center myself and used the phone as much as possible and email as little as possible. I talked with Carey most of the time and she was top notch, Simms was very generous to me as well with a small bounty of promo stuff and a timely return on waders.

I would try and avoid emails where possible as a friend had problems with contacting Simms warranty through email.

    Cheers
