Hey guys! I was heading up to Pinaus Lake via Six Mile Creek Rd. and had my trip disrupted due to the spring washout that has obliterated parts of the road. I ended up getting permission to cross through "private" land (see point 2 below) and was able to access the lakes. In retrospect, it...

Hey guys, I recently had the chance to fly fish on the upper Shuswap River above Sugar Lake and fell in love with the setting. After a bit of research I found out that there are actually salmon that spawn here and thus offer a great fishery, of course, they cant make it past the Shuswap falls...

Too much southern comfort in the hottub on thursday night prevented me from going to the vedder early as planned so grabbed the drift-rod and headed to the Stave to get rid of some roe too long in the beer-fridge. Got there about 9:30am and the Harvest Festival was in full swing. Walked the...

Fished the river across from Peach. Lots of Jacks leaping in the (now flooded) pool. Got several strikes on a small blue fly with a gold bead. Fish did not have any love for roe so I didn't use the gear rod as much. River is relatively high and I'd put visibility in the main flow at about...

Hi Everyone, As I posted in seabouy's thread (sorry I don't have enough posts to link yet), I tried my luck at T-10 yesterday. I didn't catch anything, but the weather was nice and I got to watch a fantastic sunset. Anyways, I just had a few questions, as I'm new to fishing T-10 (usually just...

Went out Saturday and had Sockeye swarming around the boat. Landed one, lost two. Went out Sunday, very few Sockeye visable; however, lost one at the boat. Landed two White Springs: 10lb and 26lb. Both at 50-60 feet on Sockeye gear. Lots of grilse so keep an eye on your gear for that little wiggle.
