Started fishing around 4pm with hoochies and anchovies fished about 30' to 70' (still have to get my downrigger counter fixed. Just as I accidentally hit the free spool on my reel make a great birds nest a fish hit the anchovy at 30' - great timing. But we got it in. That was about 5:30pm at the red can. An hour later at about the first mark my buddy hook in to one at 70ish' on a glow spoon. Nothing more, finished at 7:45pm. Two springs released with a combind length of 22"! It's time to put on the big hooks to keep the shackers off. Saw a lot of needle fish around the dock where I moore and saw some bait jumping around the red can.

Thanks for the report, I'm hoping to go out with my buddy as he just bought a new boat. Still trying to sort out a spot that will produce a little action.

Skunk number 16 or 17 for me. Fished for 8 hours all around bell bouy then moved around the freighters and closer in. Heard of fish being taken but seems to be slow again. Dog fish seemed to come in with the tide.
