Fished from 6pm to 8pm High tide.

The fishing was decent, most people on the bar had a fish on at some time during the time I was there. Certainly not fantastic, can't keep the fish off action, but fairly steady nonetheless. It was nice to see some young kids out there catching pinks for the first time. They actually outfished most people on the bar.

Crowd is not bad, there is a fair bit of room there, and if its too busy, you can always go to Poplar or Duncan bars since they are so close.

fished two bit yesterday with the young son, only 3 fish landed between 10am and 4pm out of atleast 14-16 fishermen????? at least the little guy had a couple if hits, he'll learn to quickly set the hook from now on ;D

Duncan is definatly packed. 2 bit bar, poplar bar and the upper derby bar are less crowed then duncan.

Is Duncan bar producing well? and is the actual bar itself packed, or just no parking left. Its a huge bar with not much parking.

parking runs out very fast

usually the bar runs out pretty fast also but there is alot so usually somewhere to plop yourself

man i used to fish that bar 10 years ago, with nobody around. i think to much is read about one certian bar and everybody needs to go there. find any gradual beach and you will find pinks within casting distance.

I fished two-bit-bar on friday and monday and caught one each day. It was nice, my first salmon ever caught.
