Here's a couple for ya BigSteel...
Number 28 for the season, December 23 '06. You can see just how high the water is in this one, actually hooked on a
PATH that I usually walk in on!!
Number 29. The water was flowing well up into and through the timber, and this battle took place winding our way through the jungle! Dunno how I managed to wiggle the bugger out of there - no less than 3 times!!
And (finally) the extremely elusive number 30! Had this damn skunk wandering around with me the last 3 outings :'(
Hooked seven or eight through that, and managed to muff every single one of them :
Desperately wanted to break 30 before '07, but that certainly wasn't in the stars! The jinx, coupled with the fishing slowing right down of late, had me wondering if I'd manage to pull it off before '08!!!
That last hen, although certainly not huge, was one terrific battle in the white! Certainly finding them in obscure places this year!
