I was going to ask the same question..........Leaving for the area May 24, ice will be off most lakes but turnover may be an issue.

I have heard that Forest is open :thumbup: can't wait to show up there!

yeah same, heading up to 100 Mile for a couple of weeks (depending), hoping A) the lakes are iced off B) turnover doesn't ruin the trip. Usually not an issue at this time of year......

I have heard by some other people that the ice is off the the lower elevation lakes. :cheers:

Cyrus when will you be up there I will be around from the 24-31st of May.

I am heading up this weekend and fishing for that week. I will likely try a couple of walk in lakes or 4X4 lakes to avoid the long weekend crowds for the weekend anyway.(staying at parents place) I have another week off and will see how the fishing is before I make up my mind where I want to stay or go back to Kamloops to fish there. I will post from my parents place and let you know what my plans are!!

No problem!! I hope thaw is not an issue by the end of the weekend, turnover however is worrying me, a lot of the lakes I fish in the area seem to stay in turnover forever!!
