Just back from a 4 days excursion to Watch Lake. First time there. A small lake that gave up many smaller rainbows. 2-3.5 Lbs. A 5 lb was the biggest we saw (not ours) from the trip. Trolling a gold head green leach pattern was mildly productive. The choronamid fishing was super hot if you found the shoal they were on at. Tiny black/silver/red with white or gold head. A beautiful area of the province and only 5-6 hours away.
It's worth the drive to check out this area at this time of year. Many lakes in the area and most producing well.
