Right on nice looking fish in the 5 to 6 range right. Is that a penn 320. Nice to see the action heating up out there. Anyone else fishing in the tourny next weekend?

There is a tourney next weekend??? I would love to, but I do not have a boat, so the only way I would be able to is if some nice sole would welcome me along!!

Thanks, ...... no although I have a Penn 320 the reel in the pic is a Quantum on a Big Cat rod. I use my Penn on my Halibut Rod with roller guides.

Was out again Sunday for about 5 Hours .... hooked into 3 more fish (had hooked into 6 on Saturday). Wind seemed to be a factor where we found an awesome spot. A big back-eddy so the wind started to blow us around in circles.

Yes the fish in the pic is between 5 adn 6 feet (approx 5' 5").

The biggest one we caught on Sunday was about 6 - 6 1/2 feet long .... here's a few pics of it.

I heard there wasn't even a test fishery in the Fraser for Eulachon this year the return was so low.

Even so, I was in at Hub Sports today and Roger told me he had just received a shipment of Eulachon. Don't know where he got them from. They were about 7 inches long (or longer). On the package it said "Smelts" but Roger assured me they were Eulachon.

I didn't buy any as they were $5.00 or so for the package. That translated to about $1.00 per Eulachon. Pretty steep $$$ since my buddy already picked up a large bag of Smelts at Real Canadian Superstore for just over $5.00. :?

Not my fav. bait anyhow ....... too stinky.
