Does anyone know where hotspots are on the adams river, the mouth or canyon possibly?
also best fly for pre-sockeye season?

I hear muddlers work well in and around the canyon. My buddy was there a few years back and did well. He may have been earlier in the year however.

you'll have to check on the regs but I think Hiuihill creek is a good rainbow trout creek

it does have salmon in it though so it'll brobably close from time to time

you should wait until the sockeye are in and fish EGG patterns behind the spawning salmon. saw this on a fishing show and they were getting some good sized trout :thumbup: they also fished the Clearwater river in the same show.

yeah, the Clearwater should be great from now until October for BIG bows and dollies. Try the Raft too if your in the area. I have taken bows up to 3lbs there and dollies up to 6lbs on an egg pattern.
