I might have a chance to hit up the Adams River later in the year. Im hoping on hitting up some 'bows and wondering if it's any good there. I've got a 5 wt. and soon to be a 6. How big do the fish get, is the fishing hot? Whereabouts on the river is the best fished? Any information would be really cool. Thanks!

fishing was on and off for me. some days they go crazy over an egg fly other days they're so stuffed with eggs they wont hit anything. On those days i tied on a small egg sucking leach in black or purple and that provoked strikes. They are of fair size i was using a 6/7wt rod but u could fish them easily with a 5wt. Dont fish to close to the spawing sockeye cus they'll hit the leach with such power to get it out of the redd, u learn your lesson fast.
