I know a few of the guys here a locals to the Alouette, my uncle had referred me to a great cutthroat run in the spring, anybody got any information on it? Thanks all and those were some pretty nice steelies in the pics thread.

Try to time it on a rising tide, use minnow patterns. Don't worry about getting the patterns down as the fry are travelling in the upper part of the water column and the cutties are looking up for them. Floating line on a 5 weight is the most enjoyable way to go. The cutties are constantly on the move so where yiou find them one hour won't necessarily be where they are at the next
