Hey Guys,

Anyone ever fish these 2 lakes up by Whistler. I've got a buddy that has a house on the lakes and was curious if they're worth a trip up there. Some questions that I have are,

1. Time of year
2. Techniques and patterns that are productive
3. Area of the lake worth fishing
4. Average size of fish

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Pm me if you think it is necessary.

Thanks and Tight Lines, Wes

Hey Wiggy,

Have you heard what kind of gear they catch them on there.

Spoons?............ Spinners?............. Jigs?............. Crankbaits?

PM me if you have any idea. Otherwise I'll just go with what I think will work.

That theory has worked for me in the past. ;) ;) :)

Thanks, Nates

Alta lake go to the park on the other side of the lake.you can access it by going into Alpine meadows.Fish off the dock at dusk.I used small spinners and got a 3 lber last May.My dad lives up there and does really well every year. Lots of cutties stocked in there .Read the regs though I can`t remember if its a non bait lake or not. Also on Father`s day they have a free catch and release derby thats really fun to get the kids into, Elvis

All of Whistler is not bait ban. In Alpha and Nita lakes you can use bait. Alta lake is single barbless and bait ban. As far as the other lakes go I'm not sure you'll have to chck the regs. I'm pretty sure all of the rivers in that area are bait ban though. Not 100% on that though.
