We got out at 6:00 am and fished from the bottom at usaully 90' to 60' to 30'. Not much. Saw Little caught. We caught a soul. But it did not look fishy. One bight at 60'... probably not big enough to catch, and a sole. Trolled to almost the Fisher Pier W.Van at 9:00.
On the way to the gas dock at Granville Is. about 1'st beach found a massive school of herring or anchovies, nothing working it. Big as deca meter, 4 to 5 inchers. Halve mile off the mark at second beech.
Sockeye... whales.
Have fun, Jason.

That's kinda depressing...bait and no salmon attacking it. Hmmm.
Thanks for the report Jay! Cheers! -Nathan in NW
