Fairly productive today. I got one legal and let an undersize go. Saw at least 4 other legals taken amongst the half dozen boats out. I was using spoons and the guy in the kayake got two with Anchovie...Waters and current were calm until mid afternoon when the wind cropped up...

You need a boat, or kayak or something that floats...

I went out today... late in the day and didnt catch anything water was calm used a green flasher, and army truck spoon and glow in the dark green spoon.

dropped both downriggers to 80 and 90 feet. fished in 90 feet of water or so....

What i want to know is i dropped two crab traps and didnt catch anything but star fish and i had my traps (salmon head and turkey neck bait) over night... that's the first time i've ever been skunked for crab... Do winter crabs require a different techique?

Hey there...i was out there today as well...army truck gypsy spoons...90ft of water...I had one on early in the day undersize...let go at the side of the boat...and lost a legal at the back of the boat with a dull hook late in the day...its actually slowed down a bit in the last week...

Crabs......lets see last saturday i limited...last monday i limited...today one rock crab....could be they are in molt...if so they don't eat....same techniques as any other time...try going straight off the pink building in about 60-80 ft of water...haven't got starfish there yet...and usuall lots of crab...today being the exception....

I'm going to try monday as well it looks to be a decent weather day...
