"A brief note from the administrators and moderators here at BCFishingReports.com"

Earlier this year several adjustments were made to BCFR. The basic goal of these adjustments was to increase site exposure and membership while still providing longtime contributing members with opportunities to interact outside the general public's view. While we and many others feel these goals have been achieved, recently some undesirable guests conducted themselves in a manner that is unacceptable to us, and incongruent with the goals of the site.

Many of these "guests" were banned permanently, while others were given temporary bans. We at BCFR have noticed some of the negative aspects that come along with more exposure, and from herein will be paying particularly close attention to new memberships and/or guests, including how our more long standing members interact with them.

To help strengthen our team a respected and long time member, professori, will be joining the mod crew in helping keep BCFR the great little site we all know and enjoy. We know you will all welcome him into the fold.

For all the newer members who have recently joined the site and have shown a sincere desire to be contributing members of our community, we welcome you all aboard...It's great to see you here!!!!

Our long standing desire to promote responsible and ethical fishing practices and help others to do the same is as important to us as ever. We thank those of you who have contributed over the years and know BCFR will continue to keep us all thinking about, and sharing, the sport we love for many years to come...

Thanks,

BCFR

Outstanding! Great to know that the site is keeping the upper hand on the unwanted rif-raf that works it's way in every now and then!

Good work, fellas..............The past few months have been frustrating for everyone!....I am happy to see Prof aboard as a mod. and thankful to all the moderators for doing what they can to keep all the crap out of the site.......To those new members who enjoy this site and follow the guidelines, welcome, and I will continue to do my best to assist you any way I can.........Steelhead season is just around the corner and all the snagging/gaffing/lining/flossing threads and questionable responses that seems to be permanently attached to the late summer & fall seasons will hopefully disappear for at least another 6-8 months.......Ortho

Thats brings the number of users on the river to a lower 10% No more having to walk stretchs of river to come across an area to fish.... Now you can have whole parts of the river to yourself, and the only people you come across are people who are just as passionate about the sport of steelheading as you are. :beerchug: No more dirty chums or chinook robbers, when you see that float go down hard you know what you got! Chrome. Definately my favorite season.
