just wondering if anyone has had any luck anywhere. I was thinking of taking the kids camping this coming weekend
but i like to fish a little bit maybe let them reel one or two in, has anyone being in pegleg lately, is the water low and are there any fish to be caught. Also i've been thinking of trying some bar fishing, would peg be ideal for it, and any set up preferences, i've never done it so, a little help would be greatly appreciated. Even if i dont catch anything i just want to get out and enjoy my time out doing what i love and and hanging out with the little one, and would bringing a car topper be a good idea. thank you in advance.

Pegs all changed this year, so still no vehicle access. I would say further up would be better, but then it's a matter of where are you going to camp. bar fishing has been picking up this last week though.

i'd try Gill bar as it's not as busy compaired to peg and great area to camp and fish with your kids,i was there last year and good area for bar fishing and playng with the spinning rod ;D

One of my fishing buddies has been at Gill almost every weekend for the last month or so, he said break-ins aren't that common this year and it's been pretty decent around there as far as rowdies go, with the odd exception.
