I'm thinking of heading up to the Merritt / Kamloops area either this weekend or next - still waiting to hear if the lakes have turned. I'm in a tube. Looking to find someone to hit a lake or two with.

In the past I've fished Stake, Lac Le Jeune, Tunkwa, Stump, and Roche, but I'm open to new ideas. At this point I haven't lined up any thing yet so I'm open to new ideas.

my dad and i are planning to go up this sunday for the day. we might have Wookie from here with us also but he is up in the air right now. my truck seats 6 but 4 adults would be roomy  we are in pontoons. we are thinking of Leighton or perhaps Jacko but neither are concrete so far.

Hey HOOK thanks for the offer, but after a little more research I've decided to hold out till next week (hoping some of the other lakes will have finished turning by then). Each time I've gone up to fish Tunkwa/Leighton I've gotten blown off the lake by mid day - that's the only problem in a float (even my V tube) :'(. I've got to make sure I've got a backup plan or it could be a long drive for just the view.

This week I think I'll hit Weaver on Saturday. Hopefully we can line something up another time.

alright thats too bad because Leighton has been fishing great which would mean its turned already. it turns in a few days just like Tunkwa does. i guess im just ballsy then cause i was out there last year and had waves going up and over my tube  but kept fishing until it got worse then went in when i had waves going up and over myself :naughty:

if you change your mind let me know. we will be leaving at 4am possibly 5 (doubtful)
