hey people
im workin in the kootenays for a few months and was wondering how good christian lake is.i was by there the other day when my buddy stopped the car to take a piss and i grabbed my rod and ran down the bank. i hooked a decent smallie in like the 4th cast with a spinner bait,i released it and my buddy started yelling for me to go. so thats all i got of it. seems good, ive been hitting duck lake, but it seems only good when we had a boat. so im thinkin i'll try christina. i havent caught small mouth since i was on salt spring island like 4 years ago . so im pretty stoked!!!

is it all good from shore or does it pay to have a boat ?
any hot colors or lures?

what about duck, does duck turn on in the fall? fall bassing is sweet ,and i know at home they come fairly shallow again and smash top water.not uncommon to have over 50 bass in a day on a nice fall day on the main lake point at home, so i would hope this world renowned bass lake would be just as good.although i think i'll have the lake to my self because everyone will be hunting.:)

thanks for any replies.
