im going to falkland this spring and am wondering how the fishing lakes around this area are. I heard that pilar,joyce,spanish and skinner are particulary good. has anyone been there or heard of these lakes and would u give me a fishing report please?

Most of the lakes in that area are great and recieve little pressure. Spanish is a good little lake in the spring and fall. The others,ie...LadyKing Lk, Square Lk, Jimmy Lk, are all reletively close to Falkland and supply good numbers of large rainbows. There are too many lakes to name in that area... keep in mind, most of them are fly only, and require a well matched fly and good presentation to trick these guys!

Pinaus Lake and Little Pinaus yield good numbers of fish on fly or gear or bait.
