if you are into catch and release i've had some luck mooching and trolling at the yale on a friday or saturday night, mooching is a little more successful and a stiff rod helps too. if you just wanna relax and watch the fish you can just go next door to the hatchery at the cecil.
good luck, ferret

Make sure your waders don't have any leeks! and proper cleaning of those downtown fish is mandatory also as they are known to carry lots of sea lice!

Well I know a good place you could hook dog fish....... but you don't want them.

Not much down town, you need to venture to the N.Shore atleast...... ;)

You might try fishing off the Stanley Park seawall. I've seen people catch flounder, perch, cod and mud sharks. You can get there by using public transit.
Those are some of the first memories I have as a youngster fishing. There or off of Dunderave peer in N. Van....You never knew what you were going to catch. Good times.

Finder ;)
