from what it sounds like there is a slot limit on springs at the mouth of the fraser (62-77cm) however, english bay ( the bell bouy) is still open for 2 chinook over 62 cm a day is this correct?
It does effect fishing around the mouth of the Fraser in salt water.
Effective 00:01 hours Monday June 16,2008 and until 23:59 hours Friday August
8, 2008, additional fishery restrictions on Chinook salmon will be in effect in
Subareas 29-6, 29-7, 29-9 and 29-10. During this time period and in these areas
the daily limit is two (2) Chinook salmon per day which must be greater than 62
cm and less than 77 cm. You may not retain Chinook with a fork length less
than 62 cm or greater than 77 cm.
it's the area referred to as the "banana"....so English bay is good as well as the hump south of bowen...just don't wander south of the pt grey bell buoy without releasing those big ones..
