creek company super sport 9' on for $379 . Is this pontoon any good for rivers . i have never used one but I believe that you need a rise in the front for rivers of about 20'' . It does not state the rise on this boat . Any info would be appreciated as I would like to pick one up

A higher rocker is probably better, but I have hit quite a few rivers and never had any problem with my Waterskeeter with probably no more than 12" rise. I have done the Bow, the Thompson, the Elk and the Fernie for bigger water. More important is the robustness of the frame and the weight of the outer skin of the pontoon.

That is why I bought the waterskeeter over the outcast.
and this is why i bought the Fishcat over the Creek Company boat i was looking at which happens to be the exact same one mentioned here.
