Barrire River

Was out by east Barriere lake working last week and hit the barriere river with my fly rod on Friday. The weather was beautiful out there, 11 deg. Nice and sunny. Wasn't out there any longer than 10 minutes with a Knouff lake Special with a small split shot bout 2 inches about the fly and hooked into and landed a 4 lb brown. put up one hell of a fight. First time with the fly rod out, and first fish of the year....not bad. I'll definetly be going back there this year. Beautiful little river for fly fishing.
