hi guys,just wanted to know what size of bbettys need to
be used around seabird island just now as it saves money
having not to buy different weights. thanks fishtail.

well you going to have to buy a couple different sizes at least because as the river drops you can use less weight. We were using 4oz betties where we were and the bounce was perfect but others were using 3.5oz also with success and even a 3oz was working but didnt have the greatest bounce. like i said you need a few different sizes anyhow. I would buy some 3.5 and 4's if i were you. :thumbup:

Depends on how fast the water is moving, you can find places where you can use 2 ounce weight if its slow enough, some areas call for up to 4 ounce

pretty well 4 oz. but in some places gill bar and that area a 1 oz betty wont work. i was out there today and i had to string a peice 2 inch pencil led. and i was JUST gettin a bounce
