BC Lake fishing suggestions near Kamloops

Hi,

First post, just registered.
Driving to Vancouver Island but will rent a place near Kamloops around June 1st for a few days.

Any suggestions for catch and release float tube fishing for trout.
Prefer (like most) less people decent size fish over quantity and scenic value is a plus.

I am intermediate but get by on fitness and stubborn determination.

I may also higher a guide if it seems a good fit and we can hit 2 lakes or he or she is willing to give me a couple of others to try the following days. I know they might not do that so understand secrercy And you get what you pay for etc..

Also any tips on Vancouver Island June 1st on fishing rivers lakes or MTB or road tandem bicycle riding.
