The Cap is picking up a bit. I was out last Thursday and didn't get into much until the end of the day when we got a smallish spring. Saw a few others being caught. During the change of tide we headed across to the Bell for an hour or so without any luck. My buddy went out again on Saturday and hooked into 4 and landed an 8lb Coho all on spoons. There is a TON of bait in the area. The next couple of weeks should start to see the whites showing up in decent numbers.....
Bell Bouy to T 10 09/23
With rumbling about 40lb fish having been caught and losed off the Fraser Dogbreathe and I fill the tanks up and left. Started fishing at the Bell Bouy around 10:00 fished all the way to the T-10 without anything, not even a dog. Stopped fishing at 3:30pm, and ran out of gas at the dock (there is a reserve tank). Saw some porpises around the Bell Bouy on the way out and the way back - not sure if they were harbour or dall, but they were real small. I think is Cap. time, see you Wednesday.
