The best advice I can give you is, judged on past years, you're better off fishing the West Coast of the Island instead.

Conditions inside have been decent this year but why take a chance go where there are guaranteed to be fish.

I was just out there with by brothers a few weeks ago.
Fished the Discovery pier with the locals and tried to get as much info as my brain can contain. I was told that a good time is in August or september, but I would call up Tyee Marine - thats the local bait shop and they had tons of info for us.

While we were there we hooked into a nice 12-15lb but lost it because I spooked it when I dropped the net.

Im such a rookie... :'(
