Bon Chovy Fishing Report , April 28
Over the past few days we have had some of the best fishing we have experienced so far this spring. For the past few mornings there has been good numbers of chinook salmon hooked off the South Side of Bowen Island and around the QA marker. There was a couple times over the past few days that you could see numerous boats hooked up at the same time. The best action definately has been coming in the morning! We have been running spoons, chovies, and hootchies from 50 to 140 feet. The fished averaged around 11 pounds with a few reaching the mid to high teens. Hopefully this good fishing continues.
Crabbing has remained strong in the harbour! Traps are dropped on every charter!
