I was there in June and tried to fish the lakes but they looked pretty dead to me, also the locals got very surprised everytime I asked about it and they said they have never heard of lake fishing on the island, so I did not tried at the end. Instead, I went to a government dock at the end of Gardner Rd (i think, you should ask, it should be pretty easy since there are not many of those). It was a blast fishing for shinner perch, got a lot on a very short time, which I gave to a colleague and she was very happy.
