I'm launching at Brownsville - Surrey, what is the lowest tide I can use without getting stuck to get in or out ?
Does anybody know ? I want to head sat. if I can but low tide is at about 4 pm ! All depends what time I get back, hate to set a time limit when to come back.
It's less than an hour to the bell boy from there. I like it instead of driving through town !

I know this is a late response but I don't think the tides ever get too low to launch out of
Brownsville. Hope you had a good day...

The last set low tides a month or so ago, we got out just in time.
With in an hour and a bit the river dropped a foot or so, one guy stuck in the sand off the ramp.
Others had to wait. I think they were rare low tides for the year though !
The ramp was allright on sat. at low tide this time. ( 1.2 m ) - so last time I can't remember how low it was when people were getting stuck. Must have been neg. tide !

Thanks Though......
