So whats the deal? you wanna buy a new motor (actually 2 of them ) and you contact a motor dealer (5 in the lowermainland) in person and over the phone and , they take your ph # to call back. no call! WTF? is my money bad?
I think I was one who didnt call back, sorry Jim you have a PM, I forgot that I was off on tuesday scouting for deer.... I recieved the info yesterday from Our merc rep.....
Sorry Thomas I was not reffering to TNT you were more than helpful and I will purchase from you. I just baffles me that many other dealers dont have the time of day for customers.
kinda like just after you purchase a new 50,000$ truck...........the next day "who are you"
Go with a Yamaha Jim, I gone threw 4 Mercs on my Whaler since 1980. I bought a Yamaha in 1999 and have had no major repairs to do on it. I change the bottom end gear oil and new plugs once a year and it has never let down.....
No twins I'm not that wealthy. I just want new power, and a little more. right now I run a 75 power head, I want to run the new 90 powerhead/ jet 65 and a 6 or 8 horse kicker.
I'll be running the motor on my 16 whitewater marine sled.
I guess you are over run with prices now. Most Mercury dedalers should have called you back with pricing so it will be choose the guy with the best service, eh?
