last year in october I saw a nice sized run of chinook in the cambell river, to dark then to catch though. Anybody know when these fish first enter the system? I'm guesing mid sept

mid aug they show up, thats when ya see the chrome submarines

isnt the Campbell closed for chinook?? or just C&R

would have to check.... caught them but never really targeted them, get my springs from the chuck

its all c&r for those brutes my bother use to play around with them in his spare time bring lots of spare gear and line( lol)

C&R is fine but with some heavier gear, and those same fish I saw, coming in fresh it could be unbelievable. but I wonder if they trickle in or come in schools. If they trickle in that could mean its pretty spotty fishing because they are tight lipped. last year i think the people targeting them were all flossers and fly flossers.
