I am heading to Savory Island next weekend and will be launching from Campbell River. Does anyone know how the fishing is along the way. I am looking for some reasonable action for the kids and a bit of meat fishery for a weekend feast.

Grant reef, Middle Natch are two on the way the edge of the kelp bed on Savory are also good spots. Look for bait... its all better round there.

Great thanks for the info. It won't be quite like last weeks trip to Bamfield but maybe the kids have a little fun anyhow.
