Well it is not exactly a long weekend but if you are like me and have taken Monday off then it is a nice long weekend. Just wondering what everyone will be upto fishing wise. Myself I will be heading over to the West Coast of Vancouver Island by plane for 4 days of guided fishing for halibut. chinook and coho. I will post a full report with pics when I get back.

I'll be leaving on the 30th for a month in Hawaii, so my July 1st plans include drinking fuzzy drinks with umbrella's in them and then hopefully becoming comatose until sometime on the 5th of July :thumbup:

Im allready up on northern island (Port Mcniell) came up yesterday morning and staying here for a week, we fished yesterday and we got into 2 halibut (Chickens) and got a 52 pound halibut in the boat yesterday as well, all jigging extra large herring off the bottom, one guy got a 29 pound chinook across from us. getting ready to get back out there today
