The Cap has been slow at best! Some springs and cohos have moved in but not any signifigant numbers! I manged to hook a couple this week and saw a couple of finners but for now it's still early. But it should be picking up. They're in there somewhere! You might get lucky and find where they have been holding for the last week!

Well yea, most of the spots in the canyon I go to right now have only about 1 to 2 fish in them, pools. I went to one pool in the canyon and bumped into a school of coho, I managed to hook and land one.

Otherwise than that its been low and slow.

It's still a bit early but more are moving in with the tides so they are building. Perhaps they are waiting for colder water temps................who knows? At any rate I'm phsyched for the prospect of some big Cap ho's and springs!
